Djarot : Kemendagri Only Discuss APBD from City Government

According to the rules, Home Affairs Ministry (Kemendagri) would only discuss the City Budget submitted by Jakarta Provincial Government who has the right to send City Budget document. Moreover, the Government's budget version is considered to be right because it already contains three components.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat said, the three components that must be included in the budget are revenue, expenditure, and financing as in the City Budget Draft that submitted to the Ministry. Meanwhile, the City Budget from Jakarta City Council only includes expenditure.
"General Secretary of Home Affairs Ministry stated, the Minister only discuss the Government's budget that submitted by Jakarta Provincial Government through the letter from Governor because it includes three components," said Djarot, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (3/5).

But, Djarot disclosed, if there is no agreement, the Ministry to decide based on evaluation result. Moreover, Jakarta Provincial Government had submitted the City Budget's document to the Ministry on last February 23th. The Ministry has 15 days to do evaluation before the executive and legislative discuss the result.
Therefore, Djarot predicted Jakarta City Budget could be used on upcoming April 1st. He expected the prediction is right so the capital's development could be continued.
"All will be completed on April 1st," he said.
